General Counsel

Christi Cox is the General Counsel of RRAI responsible for directing the internal and external legal affairs of the organization and advising the company on a broad range of strategic business initiatives including government and commercial sales, intellectual property, supply chain, facilities, corporate matters, and employee relations Christi joined the company in 2023.  She is a member of the executive team, serves as the company’s corporate secretary, and provides legal advice to the company’s executive and management teams and board of directors; oversees the work of outside counsel; manages ethics and compliance; and is directly involved in negotiating complex business transactions and contracts.

Christi has more than 20 years of experience counseling technology companies involved with both military and commercial sales.   She was previously the General Counsel at Epirus, a high-tech defense startup, and prior to that, served as Senior Counsel for Microsoft where she focused on government compliance and contracts. Christi was instrumental in transforming the way Microsoft conducted business with the U.S. federal government and played a key role in negotiating the $22B Integrated Virtual Augmentation System (IVAS) contract with the U.S. Army and the Joint Enterprise Defense Infrastructure (JEDI) contract with the U.S. Department of Defense. She was also lead counsel on the formation of critical initiatives between Microsoft and the U.S. Department of Veterans’ Affairs, which led to the development of VA’s Covid dashboard and the use of Xbox Adaptive Controllers to better support injured veterans.

She holds a J.D./M.B.A. from the University of Colorado Boulder and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia.
