Devin Talbott

Devin Talbott is the Founder and Managing Partner of Enlightenment Capital. Prior, he was a vice president with D. E. Shaw’s direct capital strategy, where he helped establish the group’s Washington, DC area office and built its defense & government vertical. Prior to that, Mr. Talbott was at TCG Financial Partners, a merchant bank founded by former Defense Secretary William Cohen, focusing on the defense & government sector. Mr. Talbott began his career in the mergers & acquisitions group at Lazard in New York and worked part-time at The Carlyle Group during graduate school. 

Mr. Talbott received his J.D. and MBA degrees from Georgetown University, and his BA, magna cum laude, in Law and Spanish from Amherst College.
